Ministry of Finance of Ukraine proposes regulation of economic activity of casinos, bookmakers, as well as online gambling, creating a National Service in the field of gambling, which will implement the state policy on gambling practices, as well as license gambling activities, according to a bill on gambling published on the ministry’s website.
According to the document, the Cabinet of Ministers is to coordinate the activities of the newly established service through the Minister of Finance.

As UNIAN reported earlier, in 2014 the Ministry of Finance has developed a mechanism for increasing by UAH 1 billion the revenues from state lotteries and gambling in 2015.
