Abromavicius says Ukraine ready to respond to Russia's "unfriendly practices"
The Ukrainian government decided it would introduce retaliatory measures in response to Russia's "unfriendly practices" without agreeing such measures with the Ukrainian Parliament, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius said in an interview with Ukrainian weekly Novoye Vremia.
"Currently, Russia accounts for 2% of our total agricultural exports. The damage is estimated at betwen $421 million and $600 million. Hiwever, these are not direct losses, but the loss of actual revenues," Abromavicius stressed.
At this, the minister added that Russia has long been an unpredictable trade partner."
