Petrenko noted that Ukraine's Defense Minister, Stepan Poltorak, held a series of bilateral meetings during the NATO summit in Warsaw, which met on July 8-9.

"With regard to our priorities and proposals, the Defense Minister has also put forward specific proposals for NATO, our allies and partners, enabling us to make use of Ukraine's potential, with a view of strengthening mutual interests in the security sector," Petrenko said.

As is known, a fundamental decision has been taken. The cooperation with the Russian Federation has been suspended, within the framework of NATO's Strategic Airlift Interim Solution, and we propose NATO take advantage of the potential of our state-owned company Antonov and begin using Ruslan and Mriya aircraft for transportation of troops and cargo," Petrenko said.
