EU says export duties for scrap metal "not in line" with Ukraine’s obligations
The EU Delegation in Ukraine has published its official position on the issue of Ukraine’s scrap metal export duties.
In a statement, the diplomats said that the extention by the Verkhovna Rada of export duties on metal scrap would break an agreement with the EU to remove these duties.
The parliament’s consideration of the corresponding legislation is scheduled for Thursday, June 8.
