Gazprom's subsidiary throws almost $1 mln to lobby Nord Stream 2 in U.S.

Swiss-based Nord Stream 2 AG, the developer of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to be laid from Russia's coast to Germany, spent at least $880,000 in July-September 2017 on lobbying efforts in Washington to promote the implementation of the project in the face of a new set of U.S. sanctions, according to the Russian news agency RBC.
