Ukraine traded with partners from 210 countries and regions.
The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods in January-May 2018 amounted to US$ 2.05 billion, which is 1.4 times more than the deficit for the same period last year, recorded at US$1.42 billion.
Exports of goods from Ukraine in the first five months of 2018 grew by 12.9% year-over-year, to US$19.460 billion, while imports increased by 15.3%, to US$21.515 billion, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine has said on its website.

The ratio of coverage of imports by exports was 0.90 (0.92 in January-May 2017).

According to the State Statistics Service, exports of goods to the European Union grew by 21.3% to US$8.193 billion, while imports of goods from the EU rose by 13.4%, to US$8.014 billion.
UNIAN memo. The State Statistics Service of Ukraine estimates Ukraine's foreign trade balance in 2017 saw a deficit of US$2.625 billion, compared to the previous year's surplus of US$541.6 million.
