Milk production over the period under review shrank by 2%, while egg output grew by 2.6%.
Meat production in Ukraine in January-June 2018 (H1) totaled 1.78 million tonnes (live weight), which was 0.3% down year-over-year (y-o-y).

Milk production in the country in H1 2018 declined by 2%, to 6 million tonnes y-o-y, while egg production grew by 2.6%, to 9.65 billion eggs, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine said.
The data excluded reports from temporarily occupied areas in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, and Donbas, it said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, meat production in Ukraine in 2017 fell by 0.4%, to 3.26 million tonnes, milk output shrank by 0.5%, to 10.3 million tonnes, while egg production rose by 3.2%, to 15.6 billion eggs.
