The main task of the center will be to monitor the state of cybersecurity and report cyberthreats, as well submit information about cyber incidents to the State Service of Communications.
The Ministry of Infrastructure will create a Cyber Threat Management Center in the transport infrastructure, according to Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan.
"The aggression of the Russian Federation requires the creation of an industry-wide cybersecurity system," the minister told a Kyiv briefing Friday.

"The enterprises of the transit industry suffered from cyber attacks in 2016 and 2017. To counter cyber threats, the Ministry of Infrastructure decided to establish an industry center for managing cyberthreats in transport infrastructure," said Omelyan.
