Second U.S.-built locomotive arrives in Ukraine

The second U.S.-made locomotive dubbed "Tryzub" ("Trident") built by GE Transportation has arrived in Ukraine.

The BBC ELBE cargo vessel arrived at the port of Chornomorsk on September 24. The shipment of the locomotive started today, September 25, the Centre for Transport Strategies has reported.

The ship under the flag of Antigua and Barbuda left the U.S. port of Norfolk on September 7, so the way to Ukraine was overcome in 17 days.

The second locomotive arrived even earlier as it was predicted by Acting CEO of Ukrainian national railways company PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the first U.S.-made locomotive dubbed "Tryzub" ("Trident") built by GE Transportation arrived in Ukraine on September 10.
