Car exports from Ukraine over the period under review are estimated at $5.25 million.
Imports of passenger cars into Ukraine in January-August 2018 were estimated at US$1.356 billion.

The largest number of cars worth $236.977 million was imported into Ukraine from Japan, according to the State Fiscal Service (SFS) of Ukraine, referring to customs statistics.
Germany ranked second with car imports estimated at more than $221.09 million.
The U.S. became third with car imports worth $193.8 million.
The State Fiscal Service also added that Ukraine in January-August exported cars to the tune of $5.25 million. Most of domestic cars were sold to Canada, the U.S., and the Czech Republic.
As UNIAN reported earlier, sales of new cars in Ukraine grew by 25%, to 82,300 units in 2017.
