"In the near future, Ukrainians will be able to withdraw cash from their cards right at the supermarket registers. People are also promised full implementation of e-fares in city transport, as well as wide use of instant installments for purchases via banking cards," UBR reported.

The publication informs a number of large chain supermarkets this spring will launch cashing services at the stores' checkout registers. A similar service has long been available in the United States, Europe, Turkey, and even Russia. However, at the moment, people have to use ATMs only to withdraw cash.

"There are chances that this service will start operating before summer since a number of banks together with MasterCard are already testing the system. More precisely, everything should be decided in 90 days," Director of the Ukrainian Interbank Payment Systems Member Association "EMA" Aleksandr Karpov told UBR.
