Agriproduction in Ukraine up 3% in Jan: report

Ukrainian agri-businesses boosted production by 7%, and household farm production dropped 1.6%.

Agricultural production growth in Ukraine in January of this year was at 3% compared year-on-year, the State Statistics Service reported.

Agricultural enterprises over the reporting period increased their production by 7%, while households reduced theirs by 1.6%.

The State Statistics Service noted that the data presented do not take into account information from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and part of the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

As UNIAN reported earlier, agricultural production growth in 2018 was 7.8% compared with 2017, that's according to preliminary data of the State Statistics Service. In particular, agricultural enterprises increased production by 12.1%, and households – by 2.2%.
