Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv says the further growth of Ukraine's real GDP in the medium term, while maintaining the policy of reforms, will reach 3.8% in 2020 and 4.1% in 2021.

"Now we confidently predict that real GDP may grow in the medium term by 3.8% in 2020 and by 4.1% in 2021. But this is impossible without maintaining the current policy of reforms in Ukraine, supporting macroeconomic stability, strengthening unity in the joint actions of the president, the government and the Verkhovna Rada [Ukraine's parliament]," he said at a government meeting on Wednesday, February 20.

However, Kubiv did not announce a forecast for GDP growth in 2019.
