Poroshenko reports additional US$552,079 income

The president received dividends from his investment fund.

Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko, who is now running for re-election, has reported an additional UAH 15 million (US$552,079) in income.

In particular, the head of state declared the said sum in dividends from his Prime Asset Capital Investment Fund, the RBC Ukraine media outlet reported on February 21, referring to the president's e-declaration.

Earlier, over the period of two months, Poroshenko declared more than UAH 1 billion. In particular, he indicated UAH 1.1 billion ($40.5 million) in income as of January 1, 2019. The major share of the sum was reported as dividends from Rothschild Trust Schweiz AG since Poroshenko had transferred his Roshen Confectionery Corporation to be managed by the said company.

Later in February, he additionally declared almost UAH 27.5 million ($1 million) in income from the sale of government domestic bonds and over UAH 300,000 ($11,042) in investment profit on repayment of government securities.

Also, Poroshenko has reported in his e-declaration a house in Kyiv region, land plots, two apartments in Kyiv, an apartment in Vinnytsia, Lybid Recreation Center in Odesa region, as well as works of art, furniture, electronic gadgets, watches, musical instruments, jewelry, clothes, elite cars, and securities.
